Contra Costa Ready

Although we are in a dry spell now, forecasters are predicting that March could include more El Niño storms that would provide a much-needed soaking for Contra Costa County.  Too much rain too fast can cause significant problems, and county crews have been working hard to clear storm drains and prepare for the next phase of the rainy season.

We'll do all we can, and we're asking you to do your part to prepare as well. Before the biggest rains hit, take some time to assess your property and make repairs now.  Make sure you know where to call to report downed trees, clogged storm drains and other hazards.
